About:
This lens had a small fall out of my backpack . As I placed my backpack that contains my zooms onto the ground a flap I had not done up properly opened enabling the 20-55mm to drop out. Check Photos and Video links below.
Despite the damage the lens optics work perfectly.
Damage to a couple of Iris cogs , a couple of zoom cogs and focus outer ring- no cog damage at all. All visible in photos
Iris : Works as it should
Focus : Works as it should. Fluid and smooth
Zoom: The fall has slightly impacted the zoom so it is a bit stiff between about 35mm to 50mm. If you are zooming very slowly you will feel and add more pressure through the resistance but if reframing on the move you don’t notice it as much but still feel it.
If not for the damage the condition of lens and all accessories would be Excellent / near As New.
Looked after well and never exposed to the elements.
Used only occasionally.
Please check photos and videos showing the lens and focus test .
Selling as I got a new one when this happened but in hindsight I didn’t really need to as would have been happy continuing to use this one.
