TPM_190mm upper arm ( for Easyrigs )
Length roughly sits midway between an Easyrig 130mm and an Easyrig 230mm.
The TPM190mm ( Tadpole Productions Mod) arm for Easyrigs came about as some of my customers wanted something longer than a 130mm arm but shorter than the 230mm.We monitored what sections of the 230mm arm were being utilised. Some shooters found they didn’t use the additional 70-80mm that the 230mm arm had compared to the now TPM_190mm and they preferred not to have that extra length out front.
So I set to modifying the arm to suit some of my customers needs and requests.
With my Engineer , who is also a cinema camera and cinema lens tech , we use an Easyrig 230mm arm, cut it shorter by 70-80mm and extend the Rope Adjust Slot back further so you can still get the camera back to your shoulder and then also use the far outer end when operating off the shoulder.
*Note this is made / modified from a genuine Easyrig Arm but is not an official Easyrig product. Modification voids Easyrig Warranty but Tadpole Productions backs it on a std 12 month warranty. As it’s a Modification if it proves not to be successful ( but so far so good) Tadpole will replace your Arm w/ a 130mm or 230mm of your choosing . No non Easyrig parts have been used. It is simply shortened and rope adjust slot extended.
