TPM 180mm Arm

The TPM 180mm (Tadpole Productions Mod) arm for Easyrigs came about because some customers wanted something longer than a 130mm arm but shorter than the 230mm.

We monitored what sections of the 230mm arm were being utilised. Some shooters found they didn't use the additional 70–80mm that the 230mm arm had over what is now the TPM 180mm — and they preferred not to have that extra unused length out front.

Working with my Engineer (who is also a cinema camera and cinema lens tech), we take a genuine Easyrig 230mm arm, cut it shorter by 70–80mm, and extend the Rope Adjust Slot further back — so you can still bring the camera back to your shoulder and use the far outer end when operating off the shoulder.

Not too long, not too short. Several Easyrig users love it. I love it.

*Note: Modified from a genuine Easyrig arm but is not an official Easyrig product. Modification voids Easyrig warranty, but Tadpole Productions backs it with a standard 12-month warranty. No non-Easyrig parts used — it is simply shortened with the rope adjust slot extended.

NOTE: It used to be called TPM 190mm so all images have 190mm on them. We've since trimmed another 10mm off to fit in the new Easyrig ACE II bags so new name TPM 180mm. :-)
