Front Extension Blocks
Extend your Black Arm to accommodate a larger-sized gimbal
For larger frame gimbals, you may need to extend the Black Arm slightly. Our front extension blocks are available in three lengths: 100mm, 180mm, and 300mm. Typically, the 100mm block is used for the DJI Ronin 2, the 180mm block for the Shotover G1, and the 300mm block for the Freefly MoVI XL. The additional length adds leverage, so we recommend a lower max load for the arm.
Note: Use extension blocks with external rubber stoppers to keep the Black Arm within safe angles. Extra leverage requires caution. Stoppers are included in current kits; older units may need to add them.
